City of St. Helena Water Notice
The City of St. Helena has asked the District to share the following letter from them with you (per Health and Safety Code, Section 116450(g).
Please know that while the St. Helena Unified School District utilizes water provided by the City of St. Helena, we have taken additional precautions to offer our students and staff with access to safe drinking water:
- We have water filling stations and/or 'bubblers' for student and staff use located in common areas throughout all of our schools and facilities. These stations provide filtered water for drinking.
- We replaced filters throughout the District.
- We installed filters within each of our TK and Kindergarten classrooms, as these youngest learners often refill their waters within the classroom.
While we do not have oversight of the water within St. Helena, we continue to monitor the water situation within our city. We are committed to ensuring that our students and staff have access to safe drinking water at all times.
